Torpark is a standalone internet browser that combines Firefox and Tor technology. Run Torpark.exe and it will launch a Tor circuit connection, which creates an encrypted tunnel from your computer indirectly to a Tor exit computer, allowing you to surf the internet anonymously. All for FREE.

Alternatively, you can just use a Firefox extension, Torbutton along with Tor.

Either way, if you want anonymous web surfing this is the free and easy way to go.

I kid you not, a battery that turns into a usb port for recharging without any messy wires. It sound awesome, but details on recharge time and capacity are fuzzy. Please comment if you have one.

While the search engines give your IP and other info away, and Google loses its fight with the govt, dont you think you should search by proxy?

Searching by proxy hides your IP location from search providers and prevents them from cataloging your searches.

PeerGuardian 2 is Phoenix Labs’ premier IP blocker for Windows. PeerGuardian 2 integrates support for multiple lists, list editing, automatic updates, and blocking all of IPv4 (TCP, UDP, ICMP, etc), making it the safest and easiest way to protect your privacy on P2P. We want to keep organizations and individuals from collecting data about us without our consent.

Installation and setup was very easy. Download a updated list and just turn it on. Within milliseconds of activation it was already blocking suspicious packets. A majority were listed as China firms, universities, government organization, some media company, and others. Are they all malicious? Its hard to tell, but with an option to manually allow sites too, its better to be safe than sorry.
