July 11, 2006 will bring a close to Extended Support for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Me as part of the Microsoft Lifecycle Policy. Microsoft will retire public and technical support, including security updates, by this date.

Time to upgrade.
Microsoft is stepping into the virtual arena by offer their own free version of Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 and 2007. Save time and money as Virtual PC allows you to maintain the compatibility of legacy and custom applications during migration to new operating systems and increases the efficiency of support, development, and training staffs. I believe VMWare is better right now with a longer history and has more support package. Time will tell if MS Virtual PC with their formidable backing will overtake them.
